Birding in Sierra Morena of Seville

The Cinereous Vulture's stronghold: the great sanctuary of the Sierra Morena in Seville

The Sierra Morena in Seville is not merely a landscape; it is a strategic and indispensable enclave, rare in the Andalusian interior, where the combination of habitats offers exceptional ornithological richness, making it a highly valuable area for observing target species at all levels.
Our programme focuses on spotting and observing large birds of prey, such as the Iberian imperial eagle and the black vulture. During the breeding season, the park is the perfect place to observe species of interest, such as the black stork, the European bee-eater and the rare Cape swift. We will take you to the best vantage points in one of Andalusia’s largest natural areas.
